Accommodation
Accommodation comprises 30 suites divided between North, South and Tree camps. Each has a bedroom and sitting area, an en-suite bathroom and large windows looking towards the crater, with personal butler service supporting the stay.
Food & drink
Meals are served within the individual camp dining rooms, with menus and service matching the lodge’s formal style. Private meals and special settings may be arranged, subject to the day and weather.
What to do
The principal experience is an early descent to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a private or shared game drive. Highland walks, cultural visits and time around the rim can also be considered according to the wider itinerary.
Planning your stay
The crater rewards an early start, but accommodation on the rim and in the nearby highlands offers different trade-offs in journey time, setting and price. A longer stay can add highland walks or time on a working farm.
We plan the crater descent alongside the rest of the northern circuit, allowing enough time for the drive and for a more relaxed onward move.
