We plan shorter travel days, flexible game drives and enough downtime, then choose family tents, villas or interconnecting rooms that genuinely work for your group. A private vehicle is often worth the additional cost, particularly with younger children or a broad range of ages.
Age policies vary
Walking and some other activities have minimum ages. Certain camps also restrict very young children or require a private vehicle.
Fewer moves, better trip
Two contrasting safari areas are often enough. Three or four nights in one place usually works better than several short stays.
