When to go
Let the season shape your safari.
January to March and June to October broadly combine well, although the best Serengeti position and Zanzibar coast depend on the exact month.
April and May usually bring the long rains. Zanzibar beach conditions also depend on coast, tides and wind, so we consider the island hotel alongside the safari camp when recommending your month.
