Jabali Ridge is a contemporary lodge built among granite boulders in Ruaha National Park, with views across woodland and baobabs. The surrounding landscape brings together Ruaha’s rocky outcrops, woodland and seasonal waterways. Lion, elephant and other wildlife are the focus of outings, while the kopje itself shapes life at the lodge. Rather than an enclosed hotel building, suites, decks and open communal spaces create a series of places from which to appreciate the bush.
The rocky setting shapes the architecture, while an infinity pool and spa provide places to unwind. Nearby wildlife areas around the seasonal Mwagusi River are explored with the guides.
The suites and communal spaces weave around the kopje rather than replacing its shape. Pale timber, woven furnishings and open shutters keep the atmosphere connected to the bush. A lounge, bar, library and firepit provide different places to settle after a drive. A 2025 interior refurbishment refreshed both guest suites and the main areas.
