The camp features six spacious, safari-style tents, each elevated on wooden platforms and equipped with en-suite bathrooms that include eco-friendly bucket showers. The tents are furnished with twin or double beds, fresh linens, and offer private verandas with panoramic views of the surrounding plains, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the African bush.
Food & drink
Dining at Chada Katavi is a communal affair, with meals served in an open-air mess tent or under the stars, depending on the weather. The camp offers a variety of dishes, including hearty breakfasts, light lunches, and three-course dinners, all prepared with fresh ingredients. Guests can also enjoy bush breakfasts and sundowners in scenic locations, enhancing the safari experience.
What to do
Chada Katavi offers a range of activities designed to showcase the park’s rich biodiversity. Guests can embark on game drives in open 4WD vehicles, guided walking safaris led by experienced naturalists, and, for the more adventurous, fly camping excursions that involve sleeping under the stars in a remote location.
