Why this route

A journey with a clear sense of pace.

Eight distinct safari destinations deserve more than a quick visit. This is an ambitious example for travellers with time to explore Tanzania across three circuits; the order is set around real flight schedules.

This longer journey gives each circuit a meaningful place in the itinerary. The north introduces Tanzania’s familiar parks, the south changes the landscape and style of safari, and the west adds Katavi and Mahale without reducing them to fleeting visits.

The sequence is a starting point, rather than a promise of daily connections between every stop. We build it around camp opening dates, flight schedules and your tolerance for moving. With 22 nights, there is space to appreciate the differences between regions, but it remains an ambitious journey. We may recommend changing the order, extending a favourite area or removing a stop if that makes the trip more enjoyable for you.

Every journey is tailor-made. We adjust the route, camps and balance of nights around your dates and interests.

When to go

Let the season shape your safari.

July to October offers the strongest overlap for the northern, southern and western circuits. Some remote camps close outside the dry season; exact routing must follow charter operating days.

The season needs to work across all three circuits. We check the remote western camps and flight connections first, then build the northern and southern stays around a practical sequence.

These are broad seasonal patterns. Weather and wildlife movements vary from year to year.
