The main lodge at Beho Beho offers panoramic views over the Rufiji River floodplains and is furnished in the style of a private house. Complete with comfortable seating and dining areas, the lodge features minimal walls to enhance the natural experience. Amenities include a full-sized billiards table, a study with a personal computer, the Eagle’s Nest, a Lookout banda, and the Parade Ground for communal meals. The swimming pool provides magnificent views of the Kipalala Valley.

The camp at Beho Beho consists of nine spacious, palm-leaf thatched bandas built from local stone. Each main suite is open at the front with a canvas curtain that can be drawn at night. Inside, you'll find comfortable chairs, a huge mosquito-netted bed, a Zanzibari daybed, a writing bureau, Persian carpets and a tripod-mounted telescope for spotting game. The banda also features a separate dressing room, bathroom, an open-air shower and a private plunge pool! In addition, there is Bailey's Banda, a private villa with its own pool, which has two double rooms, sleeping 4. It is also worth noting that Beho Beho can and often is booked exclusively.

Meals at Beho Beho are planned around the safari day, with early breakfasts, relaxed lunches and dinners in camp or outdoors when conditions allow. Dietary requirements can be arranged before travel.

Activities

Beho Beho offers a variety of activities to immerse guests in the wild. Opt for guided and guarded walking safaris or game drives for thrilling wildlife experiences. For an intimate encounter, guests can walk to The Treehouse with their guide and spend the night under the African sky. Alternatively, relax in the comfortable bandas, swim in the pool, or view game with a private telescope. Guests can also visit Lake Tagalala to experience its hot springs or go on a boat ride to encounter hippos and crocodiles.
